Submissions

All-Girl Worlds is open to submissions from female writers.

1. We accept short stories, complete or – if they show sufficient merit – works in progress, novels in progress, poetry or artwork.

2. By submitting a work you grant us the right to publish the submitted portions on this site in perpetuity. The copyright of all the work remains yours. We work in close co-operation with the Sun Daughter Press (formerly the Feminine Publishing Company) which will be re-launched shortly and may publish compilations of work as e-books or paper books. The terms on which we do this will be negotiated with the authoresses, and of course they may opt out if they wish. The Sun Daughter Press may also offer to publish completed novels first showcased on this site.

3. The parameters of all fiction and artwork published on this site are simple and unique. They must be set in all-feminine worlds. We use the term all-female in some headings and publicity material, for the sake of making a very unfamiliar point. However this is slightly inaccurate since a female is the opposite sex of male. The feminine beings in stories published here must have no male sex. We do not publish works about women who, in whatever way, or for whatever reason are without men. We publish works about purely feminine worlds.

4. Can mascûli appear or be mentioned in stories? Yes, as alien beings. Such stories inevitably belong to the science fiction or fantasy genres, involving encounters with other worlds or inhabitants thereof. Non science-fiction/fantasy stories will naturally have only feminine characters.

5. Must stories be set in worlds with two feminine sexes of the melinic/chelanic (“blonde/brunette”) variety? No. This is the most usual form, but the site is open to any form of all-feminine world-system.
